Masjid Enhancement Projects
Al-Ijaba Foundation is committed to revitalizing and enhancing existing masajid to ensure they serve as welcoming, functional, and spiritually enriching spaces for their communities. Our Masjid Enhancement Projects focus on improving the infrastructure, facilities, and operations of under-resourced Islamic centers, starting with those in underserved areas across the Southeast.
Through this initiative, we assist masajid with:

Utility & Maintenance Costs: Helping masajid cover essential operational expenses such as electricity, water, and other utility bills.

Building Improvements: Addressing infrastructure needs, such as repairs, renovations, and overall improvements to make the masjid a more comfortable and efficient place for worship and community activities.

Volunteer Support: Engaging volunteers to support the masjid’s operations and upkeep, including cleaning, organizing events, and assisting with community outreach.

Event Planning: Organizing fundraisers, educational programs, and community events to promote engagement, spiritual growth, and collective efforts within the Muslim community.

Digital Assistance for Senior Communities
Al-Ijaba Foundation’s Digital Assistance for Senior Communities initiative is dedicated to empowering senior members of the community with the digital skills they need to navigate today’s technology-driven world. Many seniors face challenges with online banking, social media, and using websites for accessing services. We aim to bridge this gap by providing hands-on guidance and support.
Through this initiative, we offer:

Website Navigation Assistance: Helping seniors access important information, such as community services, healthcare, and other resources, through user-friendly website tutorials.

Social Media Training: Teaching seniors how to stay connected with family and friends through platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Online Banking Support: Assisting with setting up and safely managing online bank accounts and other digital financial services.

Technology Workshops: Hosting workshops where seniors can ask questions and receive one-on-one help with their smartphones, tablets, and computers.

Establishing Masajid in Underserved Areas
Al-Ijaba Foundation is committed to Establishing Masajid in Underserved Areas across the Southeast. Many communities lack access to a local masjid, depriving them of essential spaces for spiritual growth, education, and community building. Our mission is to change this by creating inclusive and welcoming masajid where everyone can come together to worship, learn, and grow.
We aim to either purchase existing properties that can be converted into masajid or build new masajid from the ground up, depending on the needs of the community. A significant portion of our fundraising efforts will be directed toward this Building Fund, which will cover costs such as:
